My role involves overseeing the entire creative process, from concept development to final execution, and managing a diverse portfolio of projects for clients across various industries. I collaborate with a network of professionals, enabling us to offer a comprehensive suite of digital marketing services. Moose has since established a reputation for exceptional design and client satisfaction.

Additionally, I provided mentorship to junior designers, ensuring the quality and consistency of our creative output. This role allowed me to refine my strategic thinking and project management skills, contributing to the overall growth and success of the department.

They started out as a traditional agency sixteen years ago, and are now a brand and digital firm that partners up with a selection of clients that are like-minded.

IMS

Integrated Marketing Services was founded in 2003 to provide SMEs with cost-effective marketing, advertising and PR services.

In 2005 they undertook the task of developing our own Content Management System to facilitate the global dispersal of their client’s company information through the Internet. 

Through their vast experience in multimedia and tech, they identified the need to branch into the education sector to make educational ICT equipment and resources available in local classrooms and homes.

My time at IMS provided ample opportunities for creativity and freedom of expression in my work, allowing me to further develop my skills and explore various aspects of design, including HTML, Flash and web design. I worked directly with clients and printers/media, managing projects from the initial concept to final output.

Even before graduation, I always took on projects as a side hustle.

Through the years, I gained experience and my side hustle became Moose, my small design studio.

Throughout my career, I have consistently engaged in freelance work, starting while I was still a student at MCAST. This experience allowed me to work on diverse projects, honing my skills in graphic design, web development, and branding. Freelancing enabled me to collaborate with a wide range of clients, manage my own projects and adapt to various industry demands, significantly contributing to my growth as a versatile and independent designer.

I completed a four-year course in Industrial/Product Design at the Art & Design Centre in Valletta, which became part of MCAST during my studies. I was a full-time student in the first year and apprenticed part-time from the second to the fourth year. My coursework covered a range of subjects, including Design, Visual Communication, Computer-Aided Design, Graphical Communication and History of Design.
