We were commissioned to design the 74th issue of MCAST Link, the college’s official magazine — a milestone edition marking 25 years of MCAST. At 116 pages plus cover, the issue was produced for both print and digital, with spot UV varnish applied to the cover.

The brief called for continuity with previous issues while raising the bar on execution. We refined the typography throughout, bringing greater clarity and consistency to a publication of this scale. The cover and overall design direction followed branding developed by students from MCAST’s Institute of Creative Arts.

The result is a considered, well-crafted publication worthy of the anniversary it represents — a piece of print that holds its own as both a commemorative document and a design object.
